What is the difference between the Eco templates and the Pro templates?
Our basic templates are simple, elegant websites. You can edit the images and text content as well as the gallery names and the music whenever you wish with the editing interface. If you need a different color scheme than the one on the demo, just send us your color swatches or RGB values and and we will set the website up for you to match your color scheme. We can customize any Eco template for you to contain additional galleries, link buttons or text sections for a standard fee of $75/hr. Our Pro templates use Site Composer, a powerful, incredibly intuitive control panel that allows you to edit and customize almost every aspect of your website yourself - easily and quickly. You can create unlimited galleries, text sections, link buttons and even media pages for slideshow presentations and video footage. With Site Composer you can include a textured background on your website as well as custom borders to give your website that unique look. Of course colors, fonts and music are all controlled by you too with the click of the mouse. Site Composer even sizes and optimizes your images for you and is Search Engine friendly so you get found easily on Google, Yahoo and MSN.
Can your websites be hosted anywhere?
As long as your hosting provider meets a few simple requirements, you can host our Eco templates anywhere you wish. Our Pro templates must be hosted with Photoidentities. At $99/year our hosting is the best value for money for quality hosting in the business.
What is the difference between the Original version of Site Composer and the Full Screen version?
The Original version displays your images in a 900×600 pixel size with your choice of border around the website as well as a background texture or plain colored background. On a 1024×768 resolution monitor (the most popular setting), the images will take up most of the user’s screen, with the border around it and some of the textured background. On higher res monitors, more of the background will show, with the images centered on the screen.The Full Screen version does not have any borders or background because the entire image takes up the size of the user’s screen. if the user has a large monitor and resizes the browser window, the images will resize themselves proportionately to fill the screen edge to edge. Vertical images will fill the screen from top to be bottom and be horizontally centered.
What makes your templates better than other photography template companies’ websites?
Our templates have the look of a custom website. They are extremely professional-looking but do not have the “canned” feel that many other website templates have. Do I need special software or technical knowledge to use your templates?
Absolutely not. Our editing interface for the Eco templates and control panel for Site Composer are drag-and-drop, point-and-click. We are constantly being told by our clients how unbelievably easy it is for them to upload images, change text and rearrange elements of their website.
Once I purchase my website, how long before I can start editing it?
Once you’ve purchased your website, we should have it set up and ready for you to start editing within 24 hrs. if you have requested customizations to one of our Eco templates, it could take up to 36 hrs.
How do I go live with my website once I’m ready?
It is simply a matter of logging into your domain name registrar account and editing the DNS info. We will tell you how to do this - it’s very simple. 100% of our clients have had their websites go live within hours of contacting us to say they were ready.
I don’t want visitors to my site knowing where I purchased it. Will my website have a link to Photoidentities anywhere on it?
No! Unlike many website companies, we do not place our logo or any label on your website indicating that the site is “powered by” us. You can rest assured the only brand name visible on your website will be your own
Our blogs and blogsites come with a small credit to us in the footer.
What if I need a font other than the ones you provide on the template?
No problem. Just send us your desired font (in TTF format) and we will embed it into your website for you.

What is the difference between a Photoidentities blog and a Photoidentities blogsite?
A Photoidentities blog is a customizable blog based on the Wordpress engine tailored to display 900×600 pixel images, drop-down menu, integrated about section, “send to friend” and more. A blogsite is all of the above plus 6 fully integrated flash galleries that can hold up to 48 images each and can each play a music track of your choice.
Can you transfer the posts from my existing blog over to a Photoidentities blog?
Yes we can! Most other popular blogs can be transferred over to a Photoidentities blog.
How customizable is a blog or blogsite?
You can change colors, fonts logo and textures out yourself by simply editing parts of the stylesheet via the Wordpress admin panel. We provide you with detailed instructions on how to do this. You can also add pages using our guided instructions.
